Midnight Magazine Madness

This issue of Midnight Magazine, Volume 1, Issue Number 8, October 7, 1922., is my latest holy grail to find — as in a copy I can afford.

A copy I can afford and read. Reading is mandatory. Look at all the goodies which await inside…

Does Nature Sanction the Moral Law?

Was Man Made For Marriage?

Why Beautiful Women Commit Suicide

Who Has the Best Knees On Kneesy Street — that’s Broadway?

And that’s just what we can see!

The seller says:

Published by the early health and fitness guru Bernarr Macfadden, better known as the founder of Physical Culture magazine, Midnight began as a tabloid-style pulp covering titillating and risque subjects, as well as a scattering of crime and mystery stories. Several of these early issues were confiscated and destroyed by police as indecent, and all these issues are very rare today. The magazine’s first issue was on August 19, 1922, and just 14 issues later it renamed itself Midnight Mysteries and turned away from the expose and scandal stories to all mysteries. Two weeks later the cover morphed to Midnight Mystery Stories, and in early 1923 it ceased publication entirely after only 24 issues.

If someone bought me this, I’d send ’em pictures of my boobs. Ya hear that, hubby? Photos of my naked boobs.
