Normally a (relatively) clothed photo of Bettie Page probably wouldn’t warrant a post here, but since the jacket’s pretty special…

Now, Irving Klaw was a savvy dude who made his millions via mail order and thus new the benefits of advertising; but just who knew there was merchandising like this?

    I was just a kid when I’d pass the building on 14th Street. One day I saw a beautiful long haired woman enter the building, glance at me and shut the door behind her. I was maybe fifteen at the time and never knew what was going on up the stairs next to the Jefferson movie house. I like to imagine that was Bettie Page and who can argue that it wasn’t?
