Dying For A Long Delayed Nude

I love everything about this piece; from the point of view & featured nipples, to the fact that it's drawn on tracing paper.

Wesselman sucks, he's just someone who uses the same idea over and over again, is he any better than a cartoon pornographer? Any gallery or museum who gives him a show is just selling out - compare Wesselman to his art world peers and you'll see that he just doesn't cut it.

It is difficult to debate art with one of three anonymous beings, but as I disagree that Wesselmann uses the same idea "over & over again" -- at least no more, not less, than any other artist.

Remove the series, the same "questioning", and what you have left is a man who has not only employed the same artistic style over a period (or number of works) -- but one who has changed style as well.

As for "cartoon pornographer", that's one big can of worms -- and hidden inside, usually, is a can of whop-ass.
